Our intention is to use the power of music to bring communities together
in the fight against cancer and disease.
All over the world people are affected
by cancer in one way or another. Now, more than ever,
is the time
to
band together
and make a difference starting at home in our own communities.
monies raised will be used to purchase musical instruments and provide musical instruction for children suffering from cancer and recovering from cancer treatment. Instruments will be donated to local children's hospitals, and a local music artist will give group instruction once a month.
Additionally, if can raise enough funds, we hope to offer children who are being discharged the choice of an instrument to take home, and also would like to provide further instruction to aid them in their recovery. Many children win the battle against cancer, and these children are vital in showing what improbable odds people can overcome when they have love, support, and, just as importantly, music!
